A Sigmund Freud Film Challenge

The Evolutionary Film Festival presents A Sigmund Freud Film Challenge.

The Evolutionary Film Festival will screen films submitted to this first film challenge that has the theme dedicated to the theories of the famed neurologist and psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud.

“Bold, Provocative, Fun, and Thought-provoking” are some of the adjectives to describe this latest Tampa Bay area film challenge.

Between now and June 29, 2018, you are invited to submit a 10-minute video that includes the following elements:

(1) An assigned theme that dramatizes or demonstrates a theory or expression attributed to Sigmund Freud.

(2) The expression, “…very interesting….” vocally expressed in any capacity in the video entry,

(3) the color yellow must be shown in any capacity in the film entry, and (4) a character of any gender named “Brown”, first or last name.

The Screening of the Competitive Entries will take place on July 9, 2018.

4. Every team submitting a competitive entry will receive a certificate of participation.

Rules & Terms
Rules:

1. A video entry is defined as a 10-minute video that includes the following elements,

(1) an assigned theme that dramatizes or demonstrates a theory or expression attributed to Sigmund Freud.

(2) The expression, “…very interesting….” vocally expressed in any capacity in the video entry

(3) The color yellow shown in any capacity in the film entry.

(4) A character of any gender named “Brown”, first or last name.

(5) “This film submission is part of “The Evolutionary Film Festival’s 2018 Sigmund Freud Film Challenge” must be displayed at the beginning of the video entry.

3. The 10 maximum minute limit excludes title and credits.

4. Competitive entries must be received by 11:59 p.m., Jun 29, 2018.

6. . We retain the right to reject objectionable material. Since the film screening is open to the public, any extremely graphic violent or sexual content might be stamped with a mature audience warning. The filmmaker retains the rights to their film.

7. Judges will evaluate the films on a 5-dimension 100-point rubric of (20%) adherence to the theory or expression attributed to Sigmund Freud, (20%) Film Aesthetics, (20%) Production value, (20%), Acting Performance, (20%), Storytelling.
