Les Rimbaud du Cinéma RC

We organize the "Rimbaud du Cinéma", an event whose objective is to show a whole range of unknown cinema, to offer a different perspective on works, far from the cinematic standardization and to honor those who produce and make films every year outside the luminous paths.

Rimbaud du Cinéma relies on the platform of our partner FilmFreeway whose know-how and stability are recognized throughout the world among film professionals. FilmFreeway welcomes all film candidates to the Rimbaud du Cinema, whether short or long, in accordance with our selection criteria.

These films candidates will be submitted to the votes of two colleges of voters: the jury "Public" composed of netizens-members and the jury "Professional" composed of personalities from the world of culture and counter-culture mainly non-cinema (literature , music, architecture, dance, sculpture, etc.).

From 1 January 2019 all films will be submitted to the two juries for evaluation by a star rating system. Each film will be evaluated in all categories until 18 October 2019 at midnight Central European Time ( GMT+1 ) the final closing date of the votes.

In the event that two films are tied in the same category each one will be awarded a Rimbaud.

The procedure of vote shall be carried out under supervision by a sworn bailiff who will certify the results.

The highlight of this event will be the ceremony of presentation of the "Rimbaud du Cinéma" to be held on Saturday 19 October 2019 in Charleville-Mézières (08-Ardennes - France), the eve of the anniversary of the birth of the poet Arthur Rimbaud; it will be followed by a huge gypsy-colored party in the heart of the Rimbaudian city and a concert by our guest of honor Emir Kusturica with his orchestra "No Smoking Orchestra".

If your film meets the eligibility criteria, we would be very happy to host it on the FilmFreeway platform.
