The Vates
Gabriele D’Annunzio, 70 years old, sick and exiled in the Vittoriale household, answers to an ex-soldier letter in which he reminds the promise made by the poet: the revolution and the dream of a nation founded on art and beauty. D’Annunzio, haunted by regret, writes the answer in a letter he won’t ever send, in which he asks for forgiveness and remembers the time when he used to believe his dream of the “Ideal State” possible.
A Believer
At sunset, in a dark art gallery, one painting, two men. Or maybe just one.
