Gabriele D’Annunzio, 70 years old, sick and exiled in the Vittoriale household, answers to an ex-soldier letter in which he reminds the promise made by the poet: the revolution and the dream of a nation founded on art and beauty. D’Annunzio, haunted by regret, writes the answer in a letter he won’t ever send, in which he asks for forgiveness and remembers the time when he used to believe his dream of the “Ideal State” possible.

From October 28th - November 4th, the Animattikon project (Cyprus) screened a selection of WFF films as part of their WFF sector at their screeening event. After touring in Ukraine with his band, Sieva moved to Kiev where gets involved in Maidan
Revolution. Fascinated by young people questioning the old soviet values and embracing
new ones, he decides to follow fve youngsters coming from diferent cities and social
backgrounds. The characters lead him into unexpected places: from the separatists
camps in Lugansk and the Maidan Square protests in Kiev, to the oligarchs estates in
Kharkiv and the pro-Russia suburbs in Donetsk. Then the beginning of the war in the east
